The lure of the health food store

I stocked up on teas! Yay =)
Drinking the 3 Ballerina Tea now and it is delicious.

Obviously I won't take all of them at once or even long term but I thought they'd be a nice way to boost weight loss/get rid of water weight, and also to help with detoxing.

Thanks A.S. ... I've known exactly who I was for as long as I can remember.

I think blended fruit + water is a liquid as long as it's finely blended without chunks. Yoghurt is just curdled milk though?

xxK

  1. mmm tea! Good! I like you :) I'm glad your not changing (apart from shrinking!)
I think I'm crazy though, I don't see smoothies as liquid... I see them as mushy food thats why I think yogurt is food? I don't make sense do i... I think juice is liquid but smoothies are not. Strange- possibly irrational but just a gut feeling *shrugs* but then I think full fat soy milk is food haha. Don't listen to me.

  2. Wow, impressive tea selection. You're going to be spending a lot of time in the loo, even if you do go sparingly! Oh well, rather out than in!!

Fruit-water sounds great! Fruit cells are always beneficial.

Yoghurt is fermented milk with bacteria cultures, Lactobacillus and Steptococcus added to it. Sounds like one for the boys down at 'pathology'! Euw, gross! Weird how something so nasty can be good for you! I suppose when your bowel flora is ailing, beggars can't be choosers!

  4. Mmmm teas are so good :) I don't recognise any of these brands, but we have a great herbal appetite suppresant tea in the UK called "Dr. Stuart's Slim Plus" (active ingredients fennel, linden leaves and galangal root). I don't know if it actually works or if it's just a placebo effect, but either way, it takes my appetite away so I'm not complaining!
